Lo Spinoff CARE atteso alla European Maker Faire di Roma e su Kickstarter

Poco dopo essere stata nominata dalla Confindustria dell’Umbria uno dei “germogli di eccellenza” della regione Umbria, CARE, società nata come spin off dell’Università degli Studi di Perugia che si occupa di temi ambientali, raggiunge un altro importante obiettivo.

Nei giorni 14, 15 e 16 ottobre, sarà ospite della prossima European Maker Faire di Roma, la più grande manifestazione europea dedicata all’innovazione e al mondo dei maker. Negli 8 metri quadri messi a disposizione dalla fiera, CARE si farà promotrice del suo nuovo progetto. Un kit con il quale sarà possibile costruire in modo semplice una borsa completamente sostenibile: CareBag. Un progetto ambizioso che parte da lontano: dalla riprogettazione di un accessorio comune in chiave eco, dalla ricerca dei materiali tutti naturali e certificati, dallo studio di un metodo di montaggio pratico e veloce, dalla progettazione di un packaging bello da vedere e da conservare. Una borsa che può costruire chiunque, e che tutti possono sentire propria. Un modo per fare la differenza, divulgando i principi di sostenibilità e di rispetto per l’ambiente. Una borsa da maker e per i maker. Ma non solo. Il kit comprende anche accessori indispensabili per i giovani di oggi. Una sacca mutlifunzione, un porta cellulare, un portafogli, un porta tablet.

Ma Maker Faire è solo l’inizio. In contemporanea con la presenza alla fiera di Roma, CareBag sbarcherà su Kickstarter, la famosa piattaforma di crowdfunding, con l’obiettivo di raccogliere i fondi necessari alla messa in produzione del kit. Per trenta giorni chiunque potrà contribuire al progetto, dando la possibilità a CARE di portare a termine il suo obiettivo: far sì che chiunque possa fare la differenza. Lo slogan di CareBag sta a significare proprio questo. “I MAKE A DIFFERENCE”. La differenza che CARE, attraverso i suoi progetti e le sue attività, continua a fare.

Shortly after being appointed by Confindustria Umbria one of the "sprouts of excellence" of the Umbria region, CARE, a company formed as a spin off of the University of Perugia, dealing with environmental issues, it reaches another important goal. On days 14, 15 and 16 October, will be guest of the next European Maker Faire Rome, the largest European event dedicated to innovation and the world of the makers. In the 8 square meters made available by the Faire, CARE will promote its new project. A kit to easily assemble a fully sustainable bag: CareBag. An ambitious project that began long time ago: the redesign of a common accessory in a green way, the research of all natural and certified materials, the study of a practical and fast method of assembling, designing a beautiful and practical packaging. A bag that everybody can build and self produce. A way to make a difference, by disseminating the principles of sustainability and respect for the environment. A bag of the makers and for the makers. But not only. The kit includes as well essential accessories. A multifuncion purse, a mobile case, a wallet, a tablet case.

But Maker Faire is just the beginning. Simultaneously with the presence at the Faire of Rome, CareBag will be launched on Kickstarter, the popular crowdfunding platform, with the aim of raising the necessary funds to start production of the kit. For thirty days anyone can contribute to the project, making it possible for CARE to accomplish its goal: to ensure that everyone can make a difference. This is the meaning of the slogan by CARE: "I MAKE A DIFFERENCE". The difference that CARE, through its projects and activities, continues to do over time.
