The University of Perugia is one of the oldest universities in Italy and Europe.

The Departments
Fourteen Departments, supported by a faculty of over 980 members, coordinate scientific research and educational activities in virtually all fields of knowledge and ensure the development of a highly dynamic, multidisciplinary, innovative and flexible academic environment.

An International University
The academic environment is strongly projected towards an international context and it is rich in opportunities for educational and student mobility, thanks to more than four hundred and seventy Erasmus agreements and over 190 international cooperation agreements with prestigious universities around the world.

The educational offer
Students can choose from a wide range of academic programs at all levels: 97-degree courses, of which 43 undergraduate, 45 graduate and 9 single-cycle courses, 28 PhD courses, 33 specialisation schools, 16 master's degree courses, 4 permanent and continuous training courses, 5 advanced training courses and, finally, a training course for specialisation in teaching support activities for disabled pupils.
The courses' curricula are constantly updated to be adapted to the rapid changes in society and the labour market, ensuring the high professional value of the qualification awarded.

The campuses
The university's teaching and research activities take place not only in the main campuses of Perugia and Terni but also in towns that are rich in culture and traditionally welcoming, allowing students an easy integration into the regional environment: Assisi, Foligno, Narni, Gubbio and Castiglione del Lago..
