UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS AND 5/6 YEAR POSTGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS (SINGLE CYCLE DEGREE)

 

 

  • High School Diploma in original language

 

  • School report/ subject certificate in original language

 

  • One of the following requirements:

            - AP Student Score Report issued by the College Board (with a minimum of 3 Advanced Placements (APs) with a score of 3 to 5, in 3 different subjects related to study program in which the candidate wishes to enroll). The
              AP in Italianian is a mandatory requirement only for students with foreign citizenship and is not considered for the admission of students with Italian citizenship, or for candidates wishing to enroll in a study program held in English.

            - Official study plan of an entire year of academic studies certifying at least one year of frequence in a study program, with passing of all related exams included in year 1

            - Foundation year


Please note that:

      - SAT/ACT exams are not relevant for admission.

      - GED Diploma (General Educational Development) or High School Equivalency test (Hset) or Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) do not grant access to higher education in Italy.

 

  • Certified translation in Italian*

 

 

POSTGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS

 

  • Undergraduate degree in original language - one of the following:

           - Bachelor of Architecture (4 o 5 years)

           - Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (4 years)

           - Bachelor of Business Administration (4 years): due to its nature professional, the qualification may not grant direct access to secondcycle Master’s Degrees and will be evaluated on an individual basis

 

  • Transcript of Records in original language, showing both the name of the Awarding institution and the name of the Teaching institution

 

  • Diploma supplement, if available

 

  • High School Diploma

 

  • Curriculum vitae et studiorum

 

  • Program of exams or syllabus of the course

 

  • Certified translation in Italian*

 


  Please note that:

       - The institution that issued the qualification must be accredited by one of the Regional Accreditation Agencies in the United States: https://www.chea.org/regional-accrediting-organizationsaccreditortype

       - Bachelor of Fine Arts / Bachelor of Music grants direct access only to second-cycle Programmes of Alta formazione artistica, musicale e coreutica (AFAM)

       - For access to these qualifications you must hold a previous upper secondary school Diploma

 

- The documentation needs to include also:

         a. Statement of verification of academic qualification issued by CIMEA (Information Center on Mobility and Academic Equivalences);

         b. Statement of correspondence of academic qualification available for download in the ARDI database (Automatic Recognition Database Italia): https://ardi.cimea.it/it

 


* The translation in Italian is not required if the original document is issued in English, French or Spanish.
