- to interpret the results of laboratory parameters and compare them with the clinical case - Prerequisites
- The student must have acquired the skills needed to interpret the results of laboratory parameters and to understand the content covered on different clinical cases reported at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the Department of Veterinary Medicine. In addition, it is essential that the student has passed the examinations of Pathology and Clinical Medicine I and II. The knowledge gained will make it indispensable for understanding clinical cases on hematology as they provide students with the requirements for interpret the results of laboratory tests. In addition, this knowledge will allow the student to correlate the data obtained by clinical examination with any laboratory investigations, with the hope to reach differential diagnosis.
- Learning verification modality
- It is important to stimulate open discussion with open-ended that you run at the end of every afternoon meeting. The clinical examination of the animal and / or collection, observation of biological samples with respective laboratory results provides the stimulus to discussion and comparisons between students and student-teacher.
