Work-based learning
Work-based learning Internships This Masters Degree Course incorporates an curricular internship programme. The internship is an important phase within the educational experience because it allows students to put into their learnt knowledge into practice and develop competences that will be useful in the workplace. To support the students on their paths, this Degree Course has established successful relationships over the years with a number of enterprises, institutions and entities willing to engage student interns and to provide them with support to develop their competences along shared, proven learning paths. A “Job Point” in the Department, aiming to supply orientation and support to course students, facilitates the interns’ organisation, meets their preferences guided by their aptitudes, professional and cultural interests, and the needs of businesses and institutions open to engaging them. Post-internship student and host feedback procedures are in place to assess the internship efficacy. This feedback is used by the Job Point to improve future selection and placement procedures.
