- Profile of the programme
- -The degree course in Digital and Corporate Communication is organised into a curriculum in Corporate Communication and a curriculum in Digital Media The course aims to meet the increasing need for a rigorous preparation both science-based and of international aspect, on issues and communication techniques that must take account of today’s digital media-driven revolution. The connection to the world of work is central to the course thanks to a series of working alliances with public and private, profit and non-profit companies and institutions on the national territory.
- Programme learning outcomes
- -Graduates of the Programme will be able to demonstrate: -) necessary knowledge to interpret multiple issues of communication in complex private or public organisations. -) necessary knowledge for interpreting the potential and role of communication in digital environments. -) necessary knowledge for planning action in web communication and promoting its informed use.
- Qualification requirements and regulations
- Verification of the possession of the curricular requirements with the methods indicated in the academic regulation of the course of study. Foreign students are required to take a test to verify their proficiency of the Italian language, except Erasmus Incoming students, Exchange Students and students in mobility as per the Cooperation Agreement.
- Examination regulations and grading scale
- Assessment is normally an oral or written exam. The grades for subject exams are measured in thirtieths (0-30 scale), the minimum grade is 18/30 and the maximum grade is 30/30. The maximum grade can be enhanced with “cum laude” (30 cum laude), in case of excellence.
- Obligatory or optional mobility windows
- -Obligatory or optional mobility windows Mobility is elective. It can be undertaken flexibly –subject to agreement with the Department and necessary permission –with respect to the year, semester, lesson content and delivery modes.
- Work-based learning
- -This Masters Degree Course incorporates an curricular internship programme. The internship is an important phase within the educational experience because it allows students to put into their learnt knowledge into practice and develop competences that will be useful in the workplace. To support the students on their paths, this Degree Course has established successful relationships over the years with a number of enterprises, institutions and entities willing to engage student interns and to provide them with support to develop their competences along shared, proven learning paths. A “Job Point” in the Department, aiming to supply orientation and support to course students, facilitates the interns’ organisation, meets their preferences guided by their aptitudes, professional and cultural interests, and the needs of businesses and institutions open to engaging them. Post-internship student and host feedback procedures are in place to assess the internship efficacy. This feedback is used by the Job Point to improve future selection and placement procedures.
- Occupational profiles of graduates
- -Corporate Communication graduates will be equipped to hold qualified positions in communication fields in profit and non-profit enterprises. Digital Media graduates will become experts in digital media project and management.
