- Requirements for qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Obstetrics; or equivalent foreign qualification

- Profile of the programme
- The course is aimed at providing conceptual and methodological models relating to the following areas: research area (methods of medical and social statistics, critical analysis of literature, research methodology); area of the theory and philosophy of Nursing and Midwifery sciences with bioethical and anthropological insights; area of management (principles and methods of economics and health planning, insights into private, public and labor law); training area (theoretical models of social psychology, group psychology, adult learning theories and tutorial methodologies); clinical area (advanced care areas with particular reference to managerial issues).
- Programme learning outcomes
- Graduates will mature skills to: - verify the evolution of assistance needs of and build innovative assistance models; - intervene in welfare and organizational problems by collaborating in cost planning; - coordinate the recruitment, training and evaluation of the health personnel belonging to the facility; - contribute to the definition of service quality improvement plans, defining standards and indicators consistent with those of the European Union, with attention to technological innovation (remote assistance, distance learning).
- Qualification requirements and regulations
- Admission to the final test for the achievement of the degree will require that the student has acquired all the credits foreseen in the study plan for training activities other than the final test. The final test for the achievement of the degree is public and foresees the presentation of a thesis work to a designated commission. The thesis is an original work performed by the student under the supervision of a lecturer (supervisor and / or co-supervisor). Thesis may be compilative (bibliographic study of a topic) or experimental (to verify original ideas)
- Examination regulations and grading scale
- The evaluation is carried out through an oral or written exam or through seminars / dissertations. The evaluation is expressed in thirtieths; the minimum mark is 18/30. The grades are conferred by a commission made up of at least 2 teachers, including the teaching owner. Students who fail the exam can give it back. The evaluation of the final qualification is expressed in one hundred tenths between the minimum grade of 66/110 and the maximum of 110/110 with honors.
- Obligatory or optional mobility windows
- The mobility windows are defined in terms of time and content by orientation actions and international agreements. Students benefit from Erasmus+ Program, through agreements ruled by the University in accordance with the lecturers of the Master.
- Work-based learning
- The didactic plan includes 30 credits (900 hours) of training to be carried out at the General Management of Hospitals or affiliated organizations, different by the University. The internship is mandatory and is aimed at making the student acquire specific skills required by the professional profile. The stage allows students to interact with the world of work. Internships and stage can also be carried out overseas, taking advantage of the Erasmus program
- Occupational profiles of graduates
- Graduates will acquire clinical-educational and managerial methodologies, for research and didactic and tutorial methodologies. In addition to dealing with nursing based on scientific evidence, he will be able to plan, manage and verify health, nursing and obstetric systems. Other occupations may include: holding managerial roles in the services of the professions within health companies and teaching roles.
