- Specific admission requirements
- First level degrees in class L / 19, Education and Training Sciences (or previous corresponding class) or other suitable educational qualification (Ministerial Decree 270/04, art. 6 paragraph 2). Curricular requirements required for access to the master's degree: it is necessary to have obtained at least 60 overall credits in the scientific disciplinary sectors: pedagogical M-Ped, psychological M-PSI, sociological SPS / (7-12), philosophical M-FIL / and historical M-STO /. Within the 60 credits requested, at least 30 must be related to SSD M-PED /; more precisely, a minimum of 6 credits in the M-PED / 01 and / or M-PED / 02 sector and a minimum of 6 credits in the M-PED / 03 and / or M-PED / 04 sector must be supported.
- Evaluation of specific subject knowledge on entry
- The verification of the possession of the curricular requirements will take place through a non-selective access test, the modalities of which will be indicated in the didactic regulation of the course of study. Foreign students are required to take a test to verify their proficiency of the Italian language, except Erasmus Incoming students, Exchange Students and students in mobility as per the Cooperation Agreement
- Profile of the programme
- The profile of the course of study is characterized by the teachings related to the pedagogical sciences and the humanities, such as to allow: critical reflection, promotion and design of qualifying educational and training interventions in the fields of competence of the knowledge society. Specifically, the teachings of "Pedagogy of sociality and cooperation", "Philosophy of education", "Didactic models for lifelong learning" and "Technologies for lifelong learning". Particular attention is paid to the aspects of disability, with the 12 credits of "Special didactics and planning of educational interventions" and 6 credits of "Experimental Pedagogy and Pedagogical Consultancy", the skills and abilities in the field of educational planning are reinforced
- Programme learning outcomes
- Graduates of the Programme will be able to demonstrate: - ability to analyze and develop interpretative models by identifying autonomous solutions and original research paths at pedagogical and epistemological, anthropological-ethical and socio-cultural level; - deepen and consolidate theoretical skills in the design, construction and management of communication models of ideas and solutions; - critically reflect with a high degree of autonomy even original studies and research in the field of education and training.
- Qualification requirements and regulations
- Admission to the final test for the achievement of the qualification will require that the student has acquired all the credits foreseen in the study plan for training activities other than the final test. The final test for the achievement of the qualification is public and consists of the presentation of a thesis work to a special commission. The final paper will be followed and coordinated by a course teacher who takes on the role of speaker. The rapporteur can be supported by a co-rapporteur throughout the course of the elaboration. The co-supervisors may also be non-faculty members of the University who in any case supervised the ongoing work as an expert on the problems faced by the candidate. The discussion of the final exam is carried out before specific commissions composed of at least 7 members and no more than 11 university professors and researchers. The Rector appoints the Final Test Commission and its President, upon proposal of the Director of the Department after consultation with the Coordinators of the CDS. The final exam includes 15 credits.
- Examination regulations and grading scale
- Assessment is normally an oral or written exam; in some cases there are intermediate exams during the course; other evaluation elements (seminars, reports, etc.) can be foreseen in specific course units and are described in the Course Unit Profiles. The grades for subject exams are measured in thirtieths (0-30 scale), the minimum grade is 18/30 and the maximum grade is 30/30. The maximum grade can be enhanced with “cum laude” (30 cum laude), in case of excellence. Grades are given by an exam commission of at least two teachers, whose President is the chair of the subject. The main exam sessions are held in January/February, April, June/July, September. Students may retake exams, if not passed. The University provides an ECTS Grading Table, which shows the actual distribution of the examination and final grades among students for each degree programme. The final degree evaluation is expressed in one hundred and tenths (0-110 scale), the minimum grade is 66/110 and the maximum grade is 110/110. The calculation of the final grade of each candidate takes into account the average of the grades obtained in the subject exams, as well as the quality of the work performed in research or in the final thesis which is discussed in public before an exam commission. “Cum laude” (110 cum laude) may be added to the maximum grade if the exam commission decides unanimously.

- No mobility windows were foreseen in the design of the study program.
- Work-based learning
- All the promoted activities are in line with what is proposed at the university level with regard to teaching, career orientation and specific quality objectives. Students are informed about the types and methods of employment opportunities at public and private bodies, in particular the possibility of accessing the FIT path for the competition class 18 / A is underlined. The course organizes seminars to introduce students to the professional figures of the realities of social cooperation, of the Third Sector (public and private), of the Institutions through the intervention of privileged witnesses.
- Occupational profiles of graduates
- Graduates will be able to fit into different work contexts and will be able to carry out pedagogical consultancy activities relating to all educational problems concerning the individual person and groups. Graduates in Pedagogical Consultancy and Coordination of Training Interventions are able to carry out various activities in the public sector and in the private sector such as (social cooperatives, communities, families, schools, courts) in educational structures for minors and young people. The main employment profiles of graduates are: Professionals in the field of childhood up to the continuous training of adults; Employees in activities concerning the consultancy and coordination of educational activities, training interventions, cultural and intercultural programs. Design professionals for the third sector and for the welfare state.
