- The course explores the historical story of archaeological and historical-artistic restoration through the thought of the most significant personalities (archaeologists, architects, art historians and restorers) who have reflected and worked on this theme; In addition, some works restored in recent years will be presented as examples of today's operational practice aroused by critical reflection. During the lessons, during which meetings with personalities operating in the field of conservation and an educational trip will be organized, further reading will be recommended, in addition to the reference texts listed below.
