Comprehension of basic principles of interaction of radiation with matter and particle detectors. Knowledge of the main types of detectors and their applications to particle physiscs and astrophysics.
Prerequisites
General Physics, electromagnetism, special relativity, notions of atomic, nuclear and particle physics.
